First bill with a higher price than expected
I was recently called by Virgin media with a ‘better deal’. The deal was cheaper than my original deal and also included a stream box so I agreed. I repeatedly asked on the call whether there will be any other charges too, I was told that there wasn’t. I was expecting my bill to come to £22 but has instead come to £64. The £22 is also in my contract, there is no mention of a £64 fee. the My Virgin Media app also says something about a £60 monthly payment. Hello, I made an early payment on 16th of July via the online portal where I can input my card details and paid the full amount; I received an email receipt stating payment received. I cancelled my direct debit (as I didn't want to be charged 2x within the space of 2-4 days). I got an email today stating the amount is basically still owed - has my other payment been lost to the void? I signed up to VM last month, but I have not received the £50 credit. I added this to my basket via add a promo code as I was emailed the code. Can someone from Virgin Media message me?
