WebSafe Parental Controls not working
Hi there - like a few other people are reporting my Websafe "Parental Controls" don't appear to be working. They are switched on in the My Virgin Media Online Security page, but websites are not being blocked that should be. I have checked my DNS is correct, and switched off and back on the Parental Controls, and rebooted the router, but the problem still exists. Please advise how this can be resolved. Hi Team, This is very frustrating! My web safe is turned on but it is not blocking websites. I had tried resetting VM Hub and I did try turning web safe on and off, but it didn't help. There are no error messages erither. I see many other customers have reported this and I'm very surprised there isn't a permanent fix! Hi, I've noticed the VM web safe is not working properly. It is turned on but it is not blocking websites. I tried rebooting the router and turning on and off the web safe. I checked my network status on https://1.1.1.1/ : Debug Information Connected to 1.1.1.1 No Using DNS over HTTPS (DoH) No Using DNS over TLS (DoT) No Using DNS over WARP No AS Name Virgin Media AS Number 5089 Cloudflare Data Center MAN Connectivity to Resolver IP Addresses 1.1.1.1 Yes 1.0.0.1 Yes My DNS are configured as follows: Primary: 194.168.4.100 Secondary: 194.168.8.100 The VM Hub is in modem mode and I'm using a third party router for WiFi. I used to get email alerts when the web safe is turned off and on, but not this time. Web safe was working fine on all devices here few days back too.
