SuperHub 5 take ages to detect Ethernet being used.
Hi i just got a SuperHub 5 about a week ago and so far it's somehow even worse than the last. I've had every version of the SuperHub and i can't get my head around how they get significantly less "Super" every time. So my issue is when i boot up my PC i takes around 5 minutes for the router to actually detect my Ethernet cable I'm u I'm using a Cat-8 cable and I'm on the 1Gb package. I've got an M.2 SSD in my PC which allows my PC to start up in around 15 seconds yet its made completely redundant by the fact the SuperHub 5 refuses to connect my PC to the internet with a wired connect and i have to wait 5 minutes. Today it actually took nearly 10 minutes it's absolutely pathetic. None of the other SuperHub's have ever had this issue Ethernet connection should be instantaneous. I've built tones of PC and never had this issue before and it started the second i used this companies latest useless router. I swear if Virgin Media wasn't the only company that supplied internet to my area i would leave them in a heartbeat.1.1KViews1like12CommentsHelp: Hub capping ethernet speeds to 100Mbps
Hey all, looking for help. My internet has been fine for months but recently I've noticed over ethernet my download speed is capped to 100Mbps. I've gone into the router and I can see it capped here: I have 3 devices over ethernet and they are all experiencing the same issue, my first guess was maybe a bad cable but for all three to go at once? No chance. I have tried changing cables anyways to no avail, no I'm starting to think it might be the router itself as I have ruled out the cables now. I've also tried rebooting the router but that didn't help either. This is affecting my security cameras so help would be greatly appreciated!2.7KViews0likes6Comments
