the App Password link just goes to "How to manage your email account...cant find anything to ask for/get an app password I've started off sending a generic email to my address list only sending to 5 at a time so recipients system wouldnt block it/mark spam but got so many returned as Mail not delivered I had to give up---was taking more time to go through and re send .... I empathise totally - it's been my email since the year dot and only stopped broadband with them as they dont do it where I moved to when returned to live with elderly dad to support him....ALL my services like you are with this and I've been 6 days trying every end up to get answers, to get help, to move things to a gmail ( not where i want it but told it was easiest hahahahah), to change contact/access info to all the services......exhausted and at stage where if it all goes and I have to start life afresh then that seems at present an easier option - goddness knows what it'll take to do but got to be better than where I am right now.....So, wishing you and all the thousands of others the best of luck - for what it's worth you are not alone281Views0likes0CommentsRe: Another virgin.net Cancellation Victim
Hi want ed to update you 9th Nov 2024 The second link now only goes to an item about download/export contact lists /individual contacts not migrating emails themselves The first one hasnt worked so far apprently because of the need for a PASSCODE from Virgin Media to allow Google either to migrate my virgin.net TO Gmail or infact to add a link between them so I could atleast have been getting the last weeks across & able to reply over the coming weels to update people of loss of virgin.net or infact transferring emails....been doing it a few at a time but realised that any attachments and links WILL NOT OPEN...message comes saying access denied by virgin.....at a loss what else to try.... Very Grateful for those trying to help....where are moderators please as havent had anything from them despite asking....I guess they're up to their eyes trying to support others of the thousands caught out by this situation....Good Luck to everyone Axx286Views0likes2CommentsRe: URGENT help needed virgin.net migrating email please
Thanks again for your help....today is d day and I'm at work from 7.30 on split shifts thru to 9 tonight so hoping to goodness I can make good use now of the last few hours before midnight tonight ....whatever the outcome I'm truly grateful for you taking time to reply - my virgin.net is the email I've used since the 1990s and the contact for EVERYTHING.....totally exhausted from days of trying to move emails, sort emails etc and useless bots on any number of service provider sites as I've struggled to change contact/security there to something new...Thanks again - this whole situation may end up with creating a whole new life1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: URGENT help needed virgin.net migrating email please
