Will I incur a £25 'consultation fee' irrespective of whether works are able to be carried out as I have outlined in my previous post? If this proves not to be possible well I'll use WiFi (as I currently am) in the BEDROOM (reasonable speeds through the VM Hub 3.0). Ethernet cable can be routed from the existing entry point in DINING ROOM but it is a big trip hazard. Not sure if I want the ethernet cable routed via the loft or under floorboards especially when the initial brownie is just the other side of the wall to where my static PC is now situated. Re: I need the cable entry point for my VM BB moved I'll try again with another browser (Opera does not let me sign on - but Edge does). To answer your questions: I am looking to change ONE of the entry points as there are currently two entry points for the 2 services I have. Entry point 1 is to LOUNGE (TV services). Entry point 2 is to DINING ROOM (BB service i,e VM Hub). Both entry points from cables leading from a secondary 'brownie'. The initial brownie (connected to the pavement connection) is on the external wall to the BEDROOM and has one cable leading to the secondary brownie. I am looking for the removal on the BB service cable to the DINING ROOM from the secondary brownie AND the BB cable now going from the initial brownie (if possible) via a hole drilled directly through the BEDROOM exterior wall. If not possible to do this from the initial brownie then resite the secondary brownie if required. The connection cable to the LOUNGE (TV) needs to remain as it currently is. The exterior connection for the BB VM Hub now being moved from the DINING ROOM to the BEDROOM. Is this possible? I can provide photos if needed. Re: I need the cable entry point for my VM BB moved Am trying to reply but getting html formatting issues stopping me from posting. I shall try again over the weekend. Re: I need the cable entry point for my VM BB moved Still waiting patiently. Re: I need the cable entry point for my VM BB moved @ Carley_S To clarify, the cable coming from street goes to an Omni - 'box 1' (on wall A). From this box the cable is routed to the other side of my bungalow to a secondary junction box (another Omni - 'box 2' (on wall B)). A feed to to TV set top box goes from box 2 directly to the lounge. Another cable, for the internet, goes from box 2 through the garage whereupon it enters the dining room (where the router resides) (on wall C). So I need the feed connection to the TV to stay as is (wall B). Ideally what I want is the connection to the router to go straight from 'box 1' on wall A (a bedroom) rather than the current wall C (the dining room). At the moment the router is in a different room to the TV 360 box. So currently TV and Router are in lounge and dining room respectively whereas I'd prefer them to now be in lounge (TV remaining in same room) and bedroom (router being moved to a different room via a new entry point rather than using unsightly internal cabling). I need the cable entry point for my VM BB moved Looking at previous posts, I believe the costs for this are £25, is this still correct? The entry point for the TV can stay where it is. The entry point wall I'd like for the BB is the room is the same wall as where the brown box is sited on the exterior side. One hole through the wall into this bedroom, one connection to the brown box is what is needed. Can a VM staff member pick this up and get this organised from here? Thanks SolvedRe: Still being billed even after disconnection You might want to have a good look at the final bill explainer sections Re: Still being billed even after disconnection Keep a check on the billing especially the link 'View bill in My Virgin Media' where you might see the effect of your service finishing and how it will effect your final bill/final credit Re: Still being billed even after disconnection londonarnold wrote: I sent in my Disconnection notice and received a confirmation from your Virgin disconnections department in Sunderland that all my virgin services would be disconnected on 26th August 2024, that’s today and the end of the billing cycle. We have this bill that came on 17th August 2024 for the 26th August to 26th September cycle which says it must be paid by 3rd September 2024, even though Virgin have confirmed our services were disconnected on Monday 26th August 2024. Please can you advise us how to get Virgin billing to update everything to reflect our account is now closed, all our revives have been terminated, and there should be no more bills from Virgin. Thank You According to the section in the VM Refund help page You would get said refund up to 30 days after they have disconnected you. I would hope that VM calculates the final bill before the 3rd September payment is taken but somehow I suspect not.😬 Re: Thinking of leaving phone call If you are determined to leave then just give them the 30 day notice via the various methods available. If phoning insist on the 30 day notice to terminate services for 30 days hence. If done today by phone that would be for 22nd September.
