I’m just leaving the recordings intact even if I’ve watched them until they’ve stopped recording, but there must be a bug in the software somewhere for this to happen. Re: Partial recordings Hi Carly There are no messages. The only time I know the recording is incomplete is that there is a circle with a segment missing against the name in the recordings list. It’s not a hard drive being full issue as we rarely go above 25%. I think it occurs if the 360 is using the same tuner for two consecutive recordings, and we stop and delete the first one before it’s scheduled stop time - it then cancels the second recording. I need to experiment a bit with this one. Cheers Russ Partial recordings Some of our recordings are incomplete i.e. they’re shown as an incomplete circle on the recordings listing. Last night we recorded ‘Call the Midwife’ followed by ‘SAS Rogue Heroes’. The first one recorded ok but only five minutes of the second one recorded. We have the recordings set to add 15 minutes at the end of each recording in case of overrun. I have a feeling that we deleted the first recording five minutes after the program ended (five minutes into the second recording) as we’d watched it live. Could it be that by deleting/stopping the first recording, it stopped recording the second? This has happened on multiple recordings recently and it’s yet another issue with the 360 software we don’t like along with the issue of not being able to un-delete recordings if they’re accidentally deleted. I wish I could go back to the old set-up. It’s making me contemplate getting rid of the 360 altogether and just accessing the tv channels via the internet. Solved
