So the great offer is I can add Sky Sports for over £50/month extra. A great offer I can refuse. We’ve looked into it and here’s what we found: Thank you for connecting with us. We are sorry for the confusion and frustration caused by the recent pop up advertising "great sports offers"/ We understand that when you contacted us via web messagng you were only given full price options and were offered package you did not want or need.We acknowledge the inconvenience this has caused. Here’s a summary of the complaint outcome and what we propose as a resolution: Upon checking, We are able to offer Sky sports collection to your package as an add on and your package price will be updated to £84.75.Re: What are the great offers?
@John_GS sure, but when I contact customer services why are they trying to sell me Sky Sports for £31.75 when I ask what the offer is? Virgin Media seems to operate in silos where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Anyway, Now TV have Sky Sports (in UHD!!!) for £19.99 for 12 months, so I will pass on the "great" offer.Re: What are the great offers?
@John_GS They did not advise me at all. I mentioned it and it was ignored and the next thing I am offered Mega TV (which I did not ask for) and M250 broadband (which I did not ask for either) with Sky Sports for £90/month. I simply asked what are the great offers that I should be seeing on the link (which I provided) to add Sky Sports. I may as well have asked what was on ITV at 7pm tonight because the response I received bore no relation to what I asked. Is Chat GPT doing the Web Messaging nowadays?
