The rolling credit of £26.22/month has been removed. Please rectify this IMMEDIATELY! complaint reference : C-3008254793 Re: What are the great offers? So the great offer is I can add Sky Sports for over £50/month extra. A great offer I can refuse. We’ve looked into it and here’s what we found: Thank you for connecting with us. We are sorry for the confusion and frustration caused by the recent pop up advertising "great sports offers"/ We understand that when you contacted us via web messagng you were only given full price options and were offered package you did not want or need.We acknowledge the inconvenience this has caused. Here’s a summary of the complaint outcome and what we propose as a resolution: Upon checking, We are able to offer Sky sports collection to your package as an add on and your package price will be updated to £84.75. Re: What are the great offers? @John_GS sure, but when I contact customer services why are they trying to sell me Sky Sports for £31.75 when I ask what the offer is? Virgin Media seems to operate in silos where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Anyway, Now TV have Sky Sports (in UHD!!!) for £19.99 for 12 months, so I will pass on the "great" offer. Re: What are the great offers? Great offers now visible. Cant see TNT + Sky Offer as I have TNT. Re: Upgrade offer Always best to take screen shots of any offer Virgin make. They have a habit of charging full price or simply deciding the "add-on" is part of the package and hiking the price up on a new lpackage. Re: What are the great offers? Don't ask what Virgin Media can do for me, ask what I can do for Virgin Media. Understood. I am so stupid. Re: What are the great offers? @John_GS They did not advise me at all. I mentioned it and it was ignored and the next thing I am offered Mega TV (which I did not ask for) and M250 broadband (which I did not ask for either) with Sky Sports for £90/month. I simply asked what are the great offers that I should be seeing on the link (which I provided) to add Sky Sports. I may as well have asked what was on ITV at 7pm tonight because the response I received bore no relation to what I asked. Is Chat GPT doing the Web Messaging nowadays? Re: Sky Sports HD Upgrading over the phone is incredibly painful. Whenever I ask for the addition/removal of a channel, I have to suffer someone asking me who uses the internet, how many devices are connected, what I watch, who I phone yada yada yada and then half an hour later I am told, no you cannot remove Sky Sports because it is part of your package even though I only added it as an ADD-ON ten months earlier in the middle of the contract. And then I am told that removing it will increase the monthly cost!! At that point , I give up and raise a complaint that gets escalated to the Communications Ombudsman who find in my favour. What takes weeks with Virgin, takes 5 minutes with NOW TV. I log in, I apply the internet offer and it is all up and running. Why can’t Virgin Media do this?
