I don't change anything but all of a sudden, no access to emails. Every time it turns out to be that you have locked my account for reasons unknown (as per the messages when you try to log in to webmail rather than my usual clients) and have to do all the password/app password reset process. My password is very secure and only used on my VM mail so really no idea why you keep locking it and requiring a reset. Re: VM (Blueyonder) email down? Fixed it myself in the absence of any VM support. Went through the whole ridiculous main password and app password reset rigmarole for no apparent reason, and now able to access email again. It really does seem entirely arbitrary when accounts get locked with zero communication from VM. Re: VM (Blueyonder) email down? So it looks like yet again my VM email is locked for no apparent reason by VM. Last time (only a few weeks ago) I was told it was a 'soft lock' and was released the following day, whatever that means. Any comments VM? VM (Blueyonder) email down? Started getting server authentication errors about 30 minutes ago. No settings or passwords changed my end. Anyone else? Re: Adding new device to existing email account problem If you happen to have been trying in the last 20 mins or so, I suspect VM email has gone down as I'm getting authentication errors on my accounts. Re: Is VM email (former BY) down? (again) I now seem able to receive, but not send, but I've not made any changes. Such a poor service. Re: Is VM email (former BY) down? (again) Hey Sabrina, I've replied to your message, but you know what might have been more customer-focused? Contact your customers before you lock them out of their mailboxes! This now seems to happen every couple of months and this same runaround every time. Is VM email (former BY) down? (again) VM returning time-out messages on email again this evening. Also server encryption errors. I've changed nothing! Re: Loss of Email - F010762348 Another slug of emails arrived about an hour ago, and I even sent an email from another address and it came through almost immediately. An hour later, incoming email has been quiet, so sent another test one from outside VM and sure enough, not received, so no real improvement. Re: Loss of Email - F010762348 Now I have emails showing up in Webmail that won't download into my mail clients. Couldn't make this up. Email client now returning 'your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified' errors. I haven't changed any settings.
