Re: Ultra HD & HD TV Last night I tried changing HDMI Cables in order to correct the fault with ULTRA HD Channel on Sky Sports. No joy, it is just as bad as ever. Strangely enough, the ULTRA HD Channel works fine, yet it does not on Sky Sports. Now, please Virgin do sort this out, the recent update to 5.21 has buggered the system up. Re: Ultra HD & HD TV Same thing has happened to me, wanted to view Sky Sports Football on UHD and it has reverted back to low resolution, grey and grainy. It worked fine last week and I have checked the resolution in settings and it had reverted back to Automatic. Switching to 4K nothing changed. Even switched off the box and restarted, again no joy. Seems the update has caused problems none of us wanted. Shame on you Virgin. Re: Ultra HD & HD TV Recently I bought a 65inch TV, not Qled or Oled and was quite happy with picture being delivered by Virgin 360 Box. However, I recently was offered a new contract including UHD Sky Sports. The picture was very grey and soft, although HD Channels were fine. As an after thought I checked the Picture settings on the 360 Box and noticed it was set to Automatic. I decided to change it to 4K and hey presto!! what a difference in the picture, it is so much better. I would suggest 360 users check their settings on the 360 Box and make sure that the connections are correct. I am now quite happy with UHD Sky Sports. Re: Disney+ showing USA content I am Teesside and the same thing is happening to me too. I no longer use Disney+ but Paramount+ won't allow me to access saying I am in the USA!! Netflix is different too, all the Star Treks series have disappeared. I just hope it will sort itself out ggrrrrrrr Re: Red light on front of 360 box advice needed I agree that the red light shows standby and white light shows box being switched on. I always switch my box of at night and red light shows constantly until I switch it back on again next morning. Nothing to worry about. Re: 360 mini box - stream box I have seen no evidence of this, you might be better to contact Virgin or keep an eye open for future news. I know V6 and Tivo Boxes are being phased out and will be replaced by 360 Boxes. Who So Many Problems Upgrading to 360? Reading through many comments on here regarding upgrading to 360 which I find hard to understand. I upgraded a couple of years back and never had a problem with it. BUT, let me be clear, I think the real problem is upgrading from V6 or Tivo to 360 using an existing box which is causing the problems. What is needed is a new box entirely. If Virgin need to upgrade, new boxes should be provided because the existing software in the old boxes are not compatible for upgrading. This was the problem I had with the old box, Virgin changed the box within a couple of days after I had complained. Virgin getting a little sloppy with these upgrades, the new boxes to accommodate 360 upgrades must be provided.
