Re: NTLWorld email account disappeared I had exactly this problem.. called the helpline and was told that the sign in email for your account could no longer be an NTL email... "Why?" I asked... "because NTL emails are all going to expire, and this is the first step". Why VM cannot just email all NTL users and say "we are closing NTL on this date xx.yy.zzz - please swap to something else".. I dont know. To login and see ntl emails (90% junk), i now have to use my gmail address... its bonkers. Re: NTLWORLD being removed Info I received was direct from the VM telephone help centre. I did suggest that some kind of notification would be in order - but as you say, who knows. The gentleman I spoke to was very certain, and confirmed several times... just sayin... NTLWORLD being removed Hi all interested people, Just got off the phone with the VM Helpdesk.. I called as, when I logged into my VM account I was instructed by the system to change my email from @ntlworld.com to something else... This I did, but I found it strange that VM would require a non-VM email to log into their own system. Anyway, called up and was told that NLTWORLD is being retired and this was the first step. Not surprised or upset (ntlworld is sooo compromised) but thought an email making this statement would have been a good idea. Cheers all, Stuart Re: New Levels of Spam 4 emails from Berkon.com (all garbage) TEMU -- now has two "u"s.. TEMUU Re: New Levels of Spam In a new development.. I now have a John Lewis offer!! How great,, The email addresses for all these nonsense emails are similar.. multiple letters/numbers @ ... mypum.fr / ewtn.com for example Time for action VM.. Re: New Levels of Spam .. also Ninja air Fryers.... New Levels of Spam Hi All, Over the past 2 weeks there has been a significant step up i the amount of SPAM. I realise that its Christmas so the people sending this up probably step up their efforts - but surely VM should be catching these obvious mails and stop them at source.. Is anyone else seeing this? For interest.. they are pretending to be from Temu, Boots, Sainsburys, TV licencing, Screwfix etc etc In each case, apparently, I have won a prize!! Garbage, of course.
