I don't answer them, but no message is left, and I report them as spam. Re: Landline not working I had a similar issue when I had no landline for ages but don't use it much. It's more for folk calling me at home. I ended up having an engineer call and all he did was plug the phone into the router. I could have done that if they had told me. I currently pay for a landline but now as I technically don't have a landline as I understand things, should I be paying for a landline?? I am under the impression that I'm not using the phone as though I'm using VoIP? Is that correct? Re: Constant calls from 0800 052 8675 I like this thread, I can't say that often. I keep getting calls from the sales team even though I've told them to "do one" and not to call me. It made no difference as I keep getting the calls so finding this thread is hopefully the solution. Re: Landline completely dead And thanks for arranging an engineer to call round. Re: Landline completely dead And I spent over 30 minutes waiting so have up. How many other folk give up I wonder. Re: Landline completely dead I did call the 0345 number but why round and round answering the same questions. The ai doesn't work for me. Re: Landline completely dead Hi Paul, The phone is plugged into an old style wall socket. I've tried reporting it on the 0345 number but in my opinion, the AI system isn't very useful and I was going round in circles. Landline completely dead Hi - my landline is completely dead and I don't know for how long it has been that way. There is no dial tone, and when anyone tries to call me the call, it is sounding engaged all the time. I have run the status checker, and it shows there are no problems with the land line but there are TV & broadband issues. Any ideas? Re: Need a 360 remote so I can upgrade Cheers Daniel_Et. It all started with an email from VM telling me I was able to update the software, etc. But I'm happy with what I've got so not going any further. W. F. Re: Need a 360 remote so I can upgrade I've just read your post again. You said "Trigger the software migration yourself before it'll be automatically done for you." No. That needs to be stopped. I do not want this to happen. From others users experiences, I don't have any confidence of believe the new software is working properly.
