Error codes do pop up but have not taken note of them, they all appear to start C3XXX and can be different. Box has been reset so many times, and a engineer from your team tried something a few months ago that did not work long either. it also deleted a lot of recordings. It also decides to reset its self with out warning ! Storage after the last batch were deleted for some unknown reason was at 7%, then the next time it said storage was full, with less than 5 hours of recordings ! I think the hard disk has an increasing number of errors. Andrew 360 box now deleting most recording and not playing any that remain. My 360 box is getting worse, and trying to speak to anyone on the phone is just impossible and really making me wonder if i should chuck the whole lot in the bin. The phone system for reporting faults cut me off, several links on the website fail. It is really a poor show. I had an engineer log on to the box a few months ago and reset it, after telling me he needed access and it was far to complicated form me to understand as he had been fully trained on the system.... which was a cheek as all he did was a factory reset and force new firmware. The box is obviously buggered but i just can not get anyone to listen to me, i think the hard disk has bad sectors or maybe other faults. My wife has had a complete sense of humor failure and wants Virgin gone....and at the moment i am tending to agree with her. This is my last attempt to get some help before Virgin get this pile of **** back ! Have even run a temp cat 5 cable to the box to make sure everything had the best chance it could. These issues only started after the "upgrade" (and i use that in the lightest of terms). Rebooted everything more than once, and once due to the need to do some electrical work on the house had the whole power shut down for 20 mins. No joy within anything i do in house, and it is affecting two boxes that were both upgraded ! The upgrade to 360, which was just some new remotes and a firmware upgrade has been nothing but trouble, wish i had never done it ! Playback issues, endless "C" error codes, very slow response to remote inputs, constant reboots and just UI hanging with blank screen (but audio) for a couple of mins. Help line are no help, kept telling me is was a local network fault that they knew about and were fixing, but i had issues long before that but they just would not listen to that.....he had a script to follow ! 😠 They would not send out new boxes or tell me how i can go back ! Just some support guy reading from a PC screen.....pointless ! Promised to call me back after they fixed the fault, still waiting for that call ! 😠 These boxes are just not up to running the new firmware ! Going to start putting a claim in for loss of service as the boxes are close to unusable right now. Run all the tests on the router and the network (boxes are hard wired) and VM ran external tests. not fault found ! Re: Contract renewal I got exactly the same, and when i could not renew using the link button on the mail, speaking to an operator put the price up by £50 and removed some of the channels. I think this is false advertising as you say and they should be reported for it. Re: Contract renewal Its all a sham people, they just want to sell you a more expensive package and appear to have no interest in honoring the offer they make on the e-mail. Excuses about other department can offer different things. If that is the case they need to get some better management in place. Price nearly doubled and now not worth it. Just want the deal as offered, "same great package, same price" Contract renewal VM sent me an e-amil to renew my contract with one simple click. But try as hard as i might i can not get the e-mailed link to work, website fails to respond or gets stuck in some auth loop. And the when you contact them directly the "same great package, same price" deal is not available. Why is it so difficult to click a simple renew button ? You would think they did not want the business ! Losing the will to live and thinking a change to another provider is the way to go.
