I Norton 360 & Virgin Media email I have just installed Norton 360 on my laptop. However when I switch on the VPN I am unable to receive or send any emails. I just get a red pop up saying 'Server Unreachable'. I have had a look on Norton's help page but I haven't been able to find a resolution. Is this a known problem or does anyone know how I can easily resolve the issue. At the moment I'm turning the VPN off permanently just so my emails work. Everything was fine last time I logged on around 10pm last night butt this morning I am getting the same message as you. Obviously there is a problem so hopefully it will right itself during the day. if not then it is going through the pain of trying to get hold of someone to sort it out. (again) Hi, I have just seen your response to this issue. I cannot get into my virginmedia email a/c. All I get is timed out. My NTL a/c seems to work ok but not virginmedia. What is going on? I've tried ringing virgin but all I get is a recorded message that there are issues in my post code. This has been going on now for 3 days!!! How can I get to receive my emails? My internet went down on Thursday for a while and since it came back getting into email has been a nightmare. Sometimes it works but most of time it just times out. Yesterday it was better but only if I turned off the VPN included in Norton. Today it worked for about 2 minutes but is now down again. I rang Virgin and recorded message apologies for ongoing issues in my post code. No time scale given. This is despite my online service status showing all is okay. Re: NO EMAIL ACCESS ALL DAY I have had exactly the same problem all day. Initially my service status said there was an issue in my post code but now it has supposed to be fixed however I still cannot get to my emails. If it is still like it in the morning I will try and contact Virgin.
