Hi Tom, just following up from the other responses in this thread, does an account for a phone line count as an active service or does it have to be broadband specifically? Re: ntlworld.com - ending! Thank you ravenstar for the update. Would also be interesting to hear back from Daniel or Tom... Re: ntlworld.com - ending! Thank you Alessandro, much appreciated 👍 Re: ntlworld.com - ending! Hi tom, my query was simply around what to do with the email boxes once they are scheduled to close - what are the options to move/ store email? Re: ntlworld.com - ending! Hi Daniel, thanks for your response. I currently have a direct debit coming out of my account each month for email and phone. I'm not sure if this counts as a home service or not, so perhaps you can clarify. Whatever the case, I would certainly seems to be paying for a Virgin service. In addition, if you have any suggestions around storing/ downloading emails from a Virgin mailbox, please let me know. Regards Re: ntlworld.com - ending! Thank you jpeg and adduxi for your advice. It would also be good to hear from someone at Virgin about this issue as I am paying an amount per month and would like to know 1) when this service will stop, and 2) a bit more about any recommended options that could be of help. Many thanks in advance. Re: ntlworld.com - ending! Also, although I don't have broadband, I do have my landline phone with Virgin and that can be used I believe to justify the email being used? However, worth checking... Re: ntlworld.com - ending! Thank you for the response, how do i know when the account will close and also how to forward/ divert email from my old account to a new one? There is also the question of migrating what I have historically and storing for future reference. I do have a Gmail account but its full so looks like I may need to purchase some extra space in order to compensate. ntlworld.com - ending! Dear VM Team, I currently have a number of ntlworld.com addresses and wanted to find out if these will be ceased soon or if I can continue to keep using them? I've been hearing that there may be changes, however nothing yet confirmed. I'm also spending a lot of time overseas working on various Programs so its important that I have access to email on a regular and uninterrupted basis. If you could please advise, Regards, John SolvedRe: Delete unused NTLworld email accounts Hi Alex_RM, I have an ntlworld.com email account and wanted to know if it will be deleted during 2025. I work overseas - as I am now - and rely heavily on my email for which I currently pay a monthly fee. If you could please advise would be very helpful. Regards, John
