Re: VM 360 box problems It would have helped for us if when we had applied for a 360 box (and the invitation email did say a box, when we only got the controller), if the organisation had set in place the remote necessary transfers from V6 to 360. It has been a colossal waste of both our time and that of the engineer who had to work overtime without success. Re: VM 360 box problems Hi, thanks. It was only by accident that I found an appointment has been made by VM but sadly no one has sent the details by text message or by email. Not impressed! Re: VM 360 box problems It didn't go well. The engineer found that the old V6 box was faulty (this only after the attempted upgrade to 360). He tried THREE different boxes without success and even with numerous phone calls because there was some issue with our old box still being registered even though we had received the new controller. He said he was organising another visit and we would have been provided with a date but this has not yet happened. I hope it does! Re: VM 360 box problems So the "three fingered salute" didn't work. Also changed the HDMI cable - that didn't work either. Re: VM 360 box problems thanks - I've tried the forced reboot with both plus and minus options. I'll try the three fingered version. Sent husband off for a new HDMI cable too but it was working perfectly fine before the 360 upgrade. Re: VM 360 box problems I can't do a factory reset without being able to access information on the TV screen. I've done a forced reboot only VM 360 box problems On Saturday 14th Sept we tried to upgrade our V6 box to the VM 360. It seemed to work fine, except for the BBCi and ITVX, when we got blank screens (tried it several times). We made sure the HDMI cables etc were secure, and the TV set to HDMI Following instructions online we tried the following: rebooting the box - this resulted in not being able to access anything on the TV at all, completely blank screens forced reboot: we tried turning off the box and tv, and turning on whilst simultaneously pressing the minus and power buttons on the V6/360 box. Some download button appeared on tv but then resorted back to the Welcome page. the box itself keeps making whirring noises though. we cannot access anything on the TV whatsoever. tried again this morning without any success So now we are without a TV. Please help! Virgin Media technician left tool behind A technician came to fix a problem with the cable connection and left a tool behind. I tried chatting with the bot which couldn't understand me (I used an identical sentence to the above). How can I return it? SolvedRe: unable to view bills Is there any way of coming off this thread, ? I was the first to post but now I'm getting lots of emails regarding "notmyrealname"s comments regarding his own problem
