Round and round in circles, nothing ever happens, despite ticket after ticket, you have my sincere sympathies. Can't access TV go app or sky sports app, so looking for some decent compensation once this farce not of our making is finally resolved. I have a My Virgin Media (MVM) account and nothing to do with O2. I have created a Virgin Media O2 account using my gmail address, but when I go to link MVM account to O2, all I get is your MVM account is registered to an old tesco.net address I originally used, but of course tesco.net does not exist anymore, so I cannot authorise or verify the linking. Very frustrasting, as I have raised this problem (and I'm not the only person) with Virgin a number of times since this began over a week ago, but am just getting nowhere and feel let down by the lack of guidance from Virgin. All I want to do is link MVM account to O2, but cannot because access to tesco.net is not possible. Can't see why this is difficult to understand and think Virgin should do the linking internally. As things stand, I cannot check my account to see if there are any good deals or watch Sky Sports app on the go, poor really. I have been trying to link my existing Virgin account to 02 (even though I don't use 02), but just keep getting told that the email address I enter (gmail, which has been verified) to link is not valid and must enter my old tesco.net email address, even though I cannot access it. Going round and round in circles, called Virgin, got IT tickets raised etc, but radio silence. How long does it take to fix this mess of a login process (over a week now)? Even if Virgin just published on its website what to do or went back to the old login method whilst they sort this out, but I don't hold out much hope. Re: Cannot login, email account no longer exists I did call and they told me they couldn't change the username, which was an old tesco.net email address, which is like a lot of other people on here having the same problem. We cannot link our Virgin account to O2 because we cannott access our old emails! It's not rocket science, but how long does this take to fix, been going on for nearly a week now. If you cannot mend this system, please revert to the old system whilst you fix this mess. A complaint to Ofcom I think if this is sorted in next few days.
