Hub3 and upgrade to 500Mb
Hi My son is upgrading his Virgin broadband from 350Mb to 500Mb and has a Hub3 modem at present. i know Virgin are sending a new modem ( prob hub5) ,but my son is away when the 350Mb /500Mb switchover is carried out and he has cctv@ home ,so thought the virgin service would continue to work. a virgin rep told him you have to change over the modem as it’s a different speed(faster service) and needs the new modem. So, should the virgin broadband continue to work on the hub3 ? or he must change over to the new hub5 modem ? Thanks64Views0likes6Comments
