However, it only auto-forwards from the date I enabled it. Is it possible to forward "historical" email that is, before I enabled auto-forward? There are some emails that I want to keep for either important business matters or sentimental ones. SolvedRe: cant access my @ntlworld.com email account. I'm afraid it IS true! I've now decided to make my @gmail.com account my main email address. Is there away to automatically divert emails to my gmail address do you know? Re: cant access my @ntlworld.com email account. If I understand the woman in support correctly, all ntlworld.com email addresses have been scrapped!!! When did this happen? Why wasn't I told? cant access my @ntlworld.com email account. I can't access my @ntlworld.com email account at all. This has happened many times, but when I contact "tech support" I get nowhere because I cannot understand the woman on the other end due to a lousy line and language difficulties. When I do get through, I can only see my email if I use my alternative, gmail.com account. This happens so often, I am despairing of ever being able to use my ntlworld.com account. Does anyone know why this recurring problem has arisen? Re: Early Termination charge out of contract Yes, it is absolutely normal for VM to screw you for money!! As I have said elsewhere, they charged me more than £200 for ealy disconnection, late payments when they stopped taking money from the DD which was still active, and overdue charges. They would not in any way concede that they cocked up by not taking the money from the bank, and as usual their "help" was useless. Re: Broadband Contract ended in August 2023, will there be a problem to terminate? Hi The trap I (and others) fell into is that like you I was also out of contract and told VM to terminate my account so I could move. What they didn't tell me was that I must give them 30 days notice. I was charged more than £200 across the couple of weeks that I moved to Talk Talk, discovered their low speed, and moved back to VM. I feel totally conned, So remember to give 30 days notice!! Re: Daylight Robbery!! The misery continues... I have received another demand for payment via email. I've forked out £123.58 to Virgin. Why aren't they drawing on the Direct Debit That is STILL set up, even though they say that I cancelled it. I DIDNT!! I am now several hundred pounds down and still not "enjoying" the reduced price for my broadband/home phone deal. I've tried several times to talk to their accounts department, only to be cut off after waiting for ages for someone to answer the phone. I really cannot wait to be rid of this shyster organisation. I tried to complain to Ofcom, only to be told that I cannot raise an individual complaint. This proves just how useless these alleged "watchdogs" are, and that outfits like Virging can treat their customers exactly how they feel like. Re: Daylight Robbery!! Hi Beth I am in work, and have been unable to access my virgin account on my works PC since being reconnected to Virgin. It isn't a firewall etc., problem. I had a similar problem with my home PC, now fixed. It still took weeks to fix though. Re: Daylight Robbery!! The trap for potential leavers of Virgin is their "30 day" rule. They insist that cancellations take 30 days to process. In other words, even if you are no longer under contract, you need to wait 30 days before you are free of them. This of course maximises the take for Virgin. Not making me aware of this when I cancelled created the crazy situation of Virgin telling me that, even though I was actually connected to Talk Talk, my Virgin service was considered to be still active, and banged me for the new, increased monthly charges. The didn't take the money from my still-active bank DD, though, so I was also charged for late payment of 2 monthly charges. I cannot express enough my disgust at this racket. Ofcom is a complete joke, which is why these sleazy rackets continue. Re: Daylight Robbery!! As a postscript to this matter, I received a text from Virgin this morning. My bill had gone up to £175-odd!! I have paid some of it with the greatest reluctance. I am being charged for Virgins inefficiency. Absolute robbery!! I can't wait for the contract to end. DON'T GO WITH VIRGIN!!
