I signed up to Telewest as it was before changing to Virgin. I signed into my account using a blueyonder address. My virgin.net account seems to be safe in that I haven't received an email stating it would be closed. However my son, daughter and wife who have virgin.net addresses as additional addresses under my account have received emails stating their email accounts will be closed in 90 days as they are no longer Virginmedia services, we certainly do. I recall some years ago, unconnected virgin.net customers were shipped off to Talk Talk, my accounts were not in danger then, they knew I was a customer and I retained them without any hassle whatsoever. Is there any way you can assist or give advice as to what I should do, I've had these accounts for over 25 years? I am still a Virginmedia customer, in fact I've just renegotiated my contract. Thanking you in advance for your consideration. SolvedRe: Virgin TV 360 box error code CS2004 I had this problem CS2004 on Saturday. It’s worked well for years. The engineer has just left. He identified the problem very. A light should have been glowing outside in the external box. He looked at the HDU plug behind the TV before it goes into the 360 box. No light, plug had failed, he put a new one in and hey presto, both boxes working. It had me well confused, one box on Ethernet the other on WiFi, could watch recordings and Netflix etc, but no TV channels. Re: Sky Sports+ From what I’ve read it seems there are mixed messages from VM, a case of who you speak to. As my team is in the Championship and based on extensive research I decided to go for the 360. It’s taken a while to get used to but I’m happy enough with it. The only minus for me is the loss of recording programs I might like. I had The Stones and Bowie setup to record whenever their name came up in the info. The biggest plus is Disney and Apple in the menus and being able to use speech instead of typing. I can understand you holding back but to put your mind at rest, should you decide late to change, the new remote comes through very quickly. My son pressed the upgrade on Friday and the new remotes came on the following Wednesday. Re: New Sky Sports + Stream Channel I called VM and they said the V6 and 360 boxes were the same. They are posting two new 360 remotes with information as to how to upgrade. This was done free of charge. I'll do the upgrade on one box and see how it goes. I believe from what I’ve read that a 360 is needed as the V6 upgrade will be later. I hasten to add, this is what I believe, I may well be wrong. New Sky Sports + Stream Channel I've received an email from Sky announcing their new Sky Sports + channel. "Introducing Sky Sports+, brand new live streams and a dedicated channel, launching this August at no extra cost for existing Sky Sports customers." Also stating "EFL fans will be able to watch their team over 20 times a season, including every Carabao Cup game, live on Sky Sports next season." Previously I have used ifollow but that is being discontinued next season due to the above. I have searched but cannot find out if this service will be available to VM customers who subscribe to Sky Sports. I'm out of contract at the moment but enjoying a discount until October 2024, but if this is not being offered to us, I might defect to Sky. Any thoughts please. Solved
