Anyone else having SMTP issues tonight?
I have a blueyonder email address and my email client uses pop3/smtp protocols. I've been sending and receiving emails all day today, up until an hour ago, since when I'm getting Authentication error messages and nothing will send. I've not changed any of my account settings today, so it can't be that. I checked to see whether there are any known issues systemwide or locally (Bristol NW, BS6) and there's nothing reported so far. The problem with Catch-Up services is that many of the shows do not come with subtitles, even though the linear broadcast version does. What will you be going for instead? I'm hating the thought of losing the ability to record, fast-forward through ads, Series-record on multiple channels, etc. I'm not a fan of streaming, and having to talk to your remote control to make anything happen sounds just plain stupid. I'm perfectly happy with my V6 box and will hold out as long as I can to keep it. However, I daresay the downgrade will be forced upon us all eventually.249Views0likes1Comment
