I tried holding the power button and the + at same time whilst my wife switched the box back on via the switch at the back. No joy. This seems quite terminal! I managed to get it working again by removing the check mark from the box marked "the server requires a secure connection" under the server settings for inbound email. I don't know why requiring a password is no longer required. Also I cannot send emails still.
