Re: Hub4 2.4GHz band going down all the time. Hi Robert, I have replied and have finally managed to get the router to give out a correct IP address to my TP Link Router. I have also mentioned that the Connected Devices page is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. :-) It was advising I had 27 wireless connected devices, 8 by ethernet, when it only has 4 ports? 3 devices were connected to Ethernet 4. My PC was still showing as connected when it was plugged into my TP Link router, so I will not be trusting that page anymore. :-( Re: Hub4 2.4GHz band going down all the time. Virgin sent me a new modem and I am getting the same issue? :-( I have Channel optimization disabled, due to previous advice here, yet I can see in the network log a good few of these? US profile assignment change. US Chan ID: 6; Previous Profile: 12; New Profile: 11.;CM-MAC=ac:f8:cc:7e:72:08;CMTS-MAC=00:01:5c:9b:34:53;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.1; These entries coincide with when my smart devices tell me there is a problem with the router.? Re: Backup Router config? I thought things were going too well. :-) Router arrived today, which to be fair was very quick. Swapped it over and entered all my old settings again. Devices connected, but no internet.??? I then get a text saying 'Sorry, there was a problem activating your router' Please use this link for help? How on earth are you meant to use a link, when you have no internet?? I called them on 150. Whilst I have a small data plan on my phone, I did not want to go through that rigmarole on a small screen. Turns out that the router serial number was never added? :-( Re: Backup Router config? Ok, thanks. I will take screen dumps of each page. :-( Wonder why they have the Export and Import options if they cannot be used? :-( Re: Backup Router config? I was using Chrome, so tried Firefox. Same result. :-( Backup Router config? Hi all, Virging are sending me a new Hub4 router, as my 2.4GHz band is going don all the time, so kudos to them for that. I have a multitude of smart devices connected to it and do not want to reconfigure all of them, so my plan was to back up the config and restore to the new router. That way I keep the SSID, passwords etc. However when I press the backup button I get an empty page except for a single 0 from http://192.168.0.1/php/trigger_download.php/?HTTP_CSRF_NONCE=42b27e727d6d22fc86c3c66c1937b12c So has anyone succesfully backed up a Hub 4 router to an actual file? SolvedRe: TV Very Quiet I have the same. I have to turn the volume up at least 4 levels to get the same as on TV. However it also happens with my firestick. Re: Hub4 2.4GHz band going down all the time. PM replied. Re: Hub4 2.4GHz band going down all the time. Thank you for the replies. I have seperate SSID for the bands. I use -5G suffix for the 5G band. No pods. Will try manual settings. Smart Optimisation already disabled. Already on manual and 11, now changed to 1. If I ask for a new hub, what am I likely to get? another Hub4 or a later model?
