Hi everyone,
Not sure if I`m posting in the correct thread, but maybe someone could help me.
I`m a fairly new Virgin media customer. I have only opted for a Broadband deal at the end of November last year. I got a "deal" for 350MB - first 3 months free and then 38.5 £ per month for 18 months. Being a O2 customer, I got a boost to 500 MB, again for "free". If you do the maths, you realise that those 3 months free are actually paid on the rest of the 15 months. Anyway, long story short, April came and I got an increase from 38.5£ to 41.88£ - Amost 9% increase.
So for 350MB I am now paying 41.88£ which is a rip off. Looking at the deals now, 516MB is now priced at 33.99£ so 8£ less than the "deal" I`ve got.
I don`t think this is very fair, and this will be the first and last time I will be a customer of Virgin Media. My friends all warned me not to become a customer for Virgin. Guess I found out the hard way.
Anyway, if there`s someone that could look in to this for me, I would appreciate couple quid off the bill.
Thanks,
Radu

Hey Raduku, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry you feel this way.
The volt speed upgrade is a free boost upgrade, there are no hidden charges with this.
However with promotional and discounts code they are time sensitive and do not fast forever unfortunately.
The good news is you can check and upgrade / downgrade whenever you want here
The free speed upgrade is only valid once you wouldn't get this again.
