Do I need to do anything to end my Volt contract?

I signed up for a Volt contract in May 2022 simply in order to save some money on my Virgin bill. I've never used the O2 sim I was sent (didn't need it). The Volt contract is ending on 6th November 2023 (this Monday). Do I need to call Virgin to end this contract or will it end automatically?

More importantly, do I need to call O2 to end the contract at their end? I don't want to be charged £11 a month for a sim I don't use. If I do need to call them, what number do I call since I don't have an O2 number to call from?

Thanks for any help

Averill

Hi there @AverillB1

Thank you so much for your post and welcome to the community it's great to have you here.

In regards to your package, the deal will end at the agreed contract end, after which you will be moved to a rolling contract unless you request a cancelation.

You can give the teams a call on 150/0345 454 1111 to discuss a cancellation or to look at a new package. If you do decide to cancel we will need 30 days notice.

Thank you, Ashleigh. I'm happy to continue to on a rolling contract with Virgin Media for now. But can you tell me please if I need to contact O2 to cancel the sim contract with them or will it end automatically too?

Hey @AverillB1,

The SIM card with O2 runs similarly to our package and if not changed will continue to run monthly, if you do wish to cancel the SIM you would need to contact O2 directly.

Joe

Many thanks, Joseph.
