power supply for v6 faulty, so i need an engineer?

on phone to vm, need a new power supply but i need an engineer bring it? and sit in for a 4 hour window to do this?

after almost 2 hours on whatsapp and 35 minutes on the phone, whatsapp finally replies and says new power supply in the post, delivered in 3 to 5 days.

sanity at last, no mention of a new remote as one is kaput (only used when the kids are staying over so not a great hardship) i guess that phone calls for another day.

still waiting on power supply, remote is completely dead, took it to a local shop to test,

tried to order a new one from link poster above gave me.

just to add, i received a new remote today in the post, still no plug though 🤐

now been sent what looks like a signal booster plug, with the end part to screw cable feed into.

next time  i have to contact VM i think i will take note of the total time out my life from start to finish to resolve issue.

please note this does not include the folks on this forum
