Virgin TV V6 box not loading

Tonight my Virgin V6 box does not appear to be loading. Have rebooted several times. Starts with the Welcome, then Starting up, then blank screen followed by No signal. My broadband is working fine as have been using it, and have checked all the cables in back of the V6 box. TV was working fine this morning. Any idea of the issue and a solution please, otherwise its gonna be a boring long weekend without a TV!

Any TV box that won't bootup has a fault, and should be reported - with a view to a tech visit.

As a last throw of the dice, try the following.. Try turning off the V6 at switch; then on the V6 box hold down both the power button and the +button at the same time. Then turn on the V6 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds. The box should reboot, the power button should turn blue, and it should reset and boot up normally.

I can see that you last posted on Thursday and Japitts has given some good advice to fix it - Have you managed to get it sorted in the end?
