Playing Trigger Point

I'm trying to play any season one episode from ITVX, I select the episode and the screen goes black. That's it, no episode ever starts. 

I've pressed pause and play and it pauses and plays, but doesn't actually play anything.

thank you for your response - When i go into itvx on the app (v6 box) and pressed a seriouse of what they were showing - i pressed play and nothing and black screen .. I have done what @Japitts had surggested - That is open app go to the search box - see "trending" i clicked on "Trigger point"  - Then it loaded and starting playing 🙂

So now i just wait for ItvX to load and i go straight to searchbar 

fingers crossed i do not have this issue again 

If it happens again what would you advise ? Any tips for future?

Thanks for coming back to us slowstar, I'm glad that you have been able to resolve the issues that you're having, as you have a V6, you could try to clear the cache on your box by doing the following steps Home > Thumbs down > Thumbs up > Play > Play > Play. If you have any further issues after that, we may need to look further into the issues from here.
