ITV1 showing 'To Be Announced' from Saturday next

I'm sure this can't be correct; that ITV programming is still 'To Be Announced' for this coming weekend?  I know they're notorious for leaving their programming until the last minute at the weekends, but this is ridiculous!  People will have bought their TV Times, Radio Times, etc. only to find that a prominent channel is not showing their weekend programme guide!  Or is it my Tivo box that's at fault?  🤔  All my other 'Favourite' channels are showing their programmes OK!

Lots of guff here, but upshot here is that every other channel has a schedule (allowing you to set a recording schedule) for up to 2 weeks in advance.  ITV1, for reasons as yet undetermined, only shows a schedule for the next couple of days.  Not acceptable, not for those of us who set timers for the coming weeks, and certainly not for anyone going on holiday and needing to set timers for more than two days in advance.

Pull your finger out Virginmedia, you feel entitled to increase our monthly costs, sometimes by more than 100%, how about you actually provide the service we]re actually paying you for?

PS I'm not not even going to mention unacceptable pixelation. HD anyone, get real, you're asking us to pay for filet mignon whilst getting a kebab, shame on you.

My V6 is showing a populated EPG for ITV1 upto and including Friday Nov 1st. When did yours last "call home" for an update?

Hello Polly43,

we are having exactly the same problem as you. All ITV programmes To Be Announced. I tried switching the box (V6) off and leaving it for a while, switched it back on and it’s still the same, no program information. We can use on demand and catch up, we are at a total loss as to what to try next .

Sorry japitts.  I didn't mean to click 'Helpful Answer'.  It wasn't helpful at all I'm afraid as I didn't understand what you were talking about.  All I know is that I have Turned off my WIFI (Modem) at the plug, then turned off my V6 box-at the plug, waited for around ten minutes, then re-booted the WIFI, waited for it to completely re-boot and then turned the V6 Box back on.  Which didn't change things one iota!  I have noticed now that there is one day next week - Friday 1st November, when there ARE ITV1 programmes listed, then on Saturday and the following days, it is back to 'To Be Anounced' again.  I am in Coventry, W. Midlands/Warwickshire.  I have tried to contact Virgin through their website, but it is useless.  I followed their instructions, as above, but then on returning to the original page, I got a message that it was not possible to test my box remotely, when that was exactly what they HAD done at the beginning, when it said that there WAS a problem with my V6 box!  I don't know what to do now.  I want to record some ITV programmes this weekend, so how do I do that now?

I am in Coventry, W.Midlands/Warwickshire.  Please see my answer to Japitts above.

Sorry, I called my box a 'Tivo' Box, from force of habit. It is a V6 box which I haven't had very long. Polly.

What is LHS?  Plus what on earth are 'Regular EPG-calls-home'?  I've never heard of it!

Hi Polly

LHS is shorthamd for left hand side of the screen.

Regular calls home -  The V6 'calls home' by electronically speaking to the local headend (VM system) around once every 6 hours and then updates the EPG (programme guide)

You find that information under Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network > View network status which should tell you about regular successes or failures.

Within that section (Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network ) you can also try Connect to the Virgin Media TV service now
