Why has Virgin removed the horror channel

The customers have no choice just to put up with random channel changes. 

Do Virgin not care about it's customer?

VirginMedia haven't done anything - the owners renamed the Horror Xtra channels to Legend Xtra.

You should complain to the channels owners CBS/Paramount 

A year ago, (June 30th 2022) CBS’s free-to-air channels went through a rebrand where three CBS channels experienced name and programming changes. At the time, The Horror Channel transitioned to Legend continuing to air a selection of sci-fi, thriller, fantasy, action and classic horror content. And, a new channel, HorrorXtra, launched to fill the horror genre void left by the original Horror Channel’s transformation into Legend.  Today Horror Xtra was rebranded as Legend Xtra on Virgin, Sky, Freeview and Freesat.

Just to add even though they used to be CBS branded, AMC Networks are the majority owner/operator of these channels. CBS/Paramount are a minority shareholder.
