Virgin 360 Storage Question

I have a question about the Virgin 360 since my remote's arrival I have upgraded both boxes to the 360 the question that I want to ask is about the storage is it joint or does each box still have its separate storage?

I should added both upgrades were done through the V6 Box

You still have 2Gb of storage, but the recording list is pooled, so you see the content on both boxes. You have to go into advanced options to see the recordings on an individual box. Also when setting a recording you need to specify the recording location in the advanced options or else Horizon will just default to the box the previous recording was made on.

So 2GB altogether shared? If that's the case that's not too bad I'll just have to warn my  family that storage is shared should that be the case

Also warn them not to delete anything without checking with other family members  as recordings can't be undeleted.

Also, you do need to manually set recordings to record to different boxes if you want to use all that space I believe, if you just leave everything recording to the default then it isn't smart enough to start recording on the second box when that one is full. And if one of the boxes breaks down I believe it will be replaced by a 360 mini box without a hard disk, so you will then lose the additional space.
