TV coax adapter

Paulplanetzarg
Tuning in

Hi. I have just received my start up package for broadband and TV 360. I have set everything up except the TV 360. I had VM a good few years ago and still have the coax cable in my lounge which was for the old style TV box. The coax connector which went in my old TV box is a screw in type but the TV 360 needs a push in type connection. Do you know if there is a converter available I can get either for free or buy from Virgin Media. Thanks

You should be able to pick one of these up at your local B&Q

Also Amazon here

Probably quicker than waiting for VM to supply you one 🙂

Thanks for your quick reply. I was just nervous about using an adaptor from anywhere other than VM but I will go get one tomorrow and give it a try 😀

Link in my original post seems to have the wrong item linked to. This link should work.

You should have received an IEC connector which enables the 360 to be connected to your coaxial cable.

Haha you are right it didn't work 😂 but I picked one up later like the 2nd one you posted the link too. Thanks anyway.

I managed to use the splitter cable temporarily supplied but would rather use the adapter because the splitter cable is a bit bulky behind my TV. The problem was that my old VM coaxial cable had a screw on fit not a push on one which won't fit into the 360. Thanks

Couldn't use the splitter cable for it's original use because my hub is upstairs and the TV is downstairs in my lounge.

Hi there @Paulplanetzarg

Thank you so much for your post and welcome back to the community forums, it's great to have you here.

I am so sorry to hear you faced an issue setting up your set top box, can I just confirm is everything now up and running for you?

Hi. Yes everything is all sorted now. I picked up an adapter from B&Q which is working fine. Thanks
