New 360 TV box has arrived. I didn't realise before signing up for it that it requires a co-ax connection (I thought it was all done through ethernet or WiFi). My hub is in a different room from my TV which creates a problem.
However, there are two Virgin Media cable entry points in my house. One is in the hallway where it connects to the hub. The other is in the living room where the TV is and is currently disconnected. The cable from it reaches to the external box but is not connected.
Is it possible to put a splitter in the external box so that both the connections in the hallway and living room are active, and then keep the hub in the hallway and attach the TV box to the living room connection?

That should be possible, however there is the standard £25 non fault callout fee for the technician. If you wait here a couple of days or so, a VM Mod will pick this up and discuss directly with you. The tech will be able to place the kit where you require and sort out the power levels etc.

Hello Nanny-Ogg.
Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.
We can arrange for the 360 box to be connected for you if you still need this sorting.
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security first though.
If you can check your logo at the top right of your screen that would be great.

Hello Gareth_L,
Sorry, I didn't notice your reply until now. Yes, by all means send me a private message (I don't see one there at the moment).
