Hi. I have no coax from input to new tv position but I have a cat 6 from incoming position to new tv position. Will new 360 mini box work without coax connection? If not, once it’s setup can it be disconnected? And if that is not possible can I convert cat 6 and run coax signal over cat 6 and use WiFi for internet for new box? And if all of that is not possible, do they do a box that works over Ethernet that doesn’t need coax connection?
Thanks very much

Nothing you suggest will work. The mini box must have a coax connection. VM do supply a box that works on an Ethernet connection only, it’s call Stream, but you can only have ONE Stream box and no other TV boxes. As you say it’s a mini box you must have another to box. VM will install the coax for £25.

All VM TiVo, V6 & TV360 boxes need 3 connections.
1: Incoming co-ax carrying live TV signals.
2: Internet connection, via your home-hub, for OnDemand, streaming & numerous updates
3: HDMI to your TV.
If you don't have a co-ax connection where you need it, then you'll need a manned installation. The alternative is a Stream box which is a non-recording internet-only TV service, but this is a single-box solution and cannot be mixed with any other VM-TV service.
