Hi. I'm considering having a mini box in our loft room. Cabling would need to be run either from ground floor where the feed comes in or the 1st floor where the modem is along with my own router. Ideally network cable would be run by the engineers too. Id happily provide the cat6, but will VM engineers do this for me when they run the coax and would a spur off the modem coax spur be OK? Also, any idea on installation cost? Many thanks

If you have an additional box installed there probably won't be a charge, at the most it will be £25.
I don't think they will run an ethernet cable because that might make them liable, (you can always ask the engineer), if your WiFi reception is OK where you want the mini box then that should be good enough.
