Hi,
I have mini boxes supplied in addition to the main box but am unable to make use of fully as there is no coax cabling to my existing TV points (other than the main TV). I do have ethernet cabling available locally.
Has anyone used ethernet as a solution to situations like this? If so, what gadgets in the market are known to work?

You cannot put Virgin’s broadcast TV signal down an Ethernet cable, just as you cannot use an Ethernet cable to connect a TV aerial or a satellite dish to a TV. You can convert data on Ethernet cables to RF & transmit them over Coax, but not the other way round. The coax provides the boxes with all 200+ channels simultaneously 24/7.

Hi hiraniha,
Thanks for posting, as nodrogd has advised, a coax cable would be needed.
so I can get a few more details from you I've popped you over a private message.

No. VM V6 & TV360 boxes require a co-ax connection for broadcast TV channels, and an internet connection for OnDemand, streaming & various updates.
