Discovery Plus app

Discovery Plus has a free trial offer and reduced offers for Olympic coverage.

Is there a Discovery Plus app similar of Disney, Apple, etc..

I cant see it.

If not how can I link my Discory Plus sub to my TV?

Thanks

(Have had my 360 box for about 14 months if that has any relevance)

You'd need a smart TV with that app or something like a fire stick.  You can't add apps to the 360.

Thanks - I did rather assume that. Although I think VM should look at how this could be done.

Will have to dig out my very long HDMI cable and stream from computer to tv.

I did this a lot in the past to take up trial offers from various streaming platforms.

A bit cumbersome but at least gives me the benefit of a larger screen.

You can get Discovery + via Prime Video

VM provide the additional Eurosport 3-9 channels as linear broadcast options - check EPG 563-569.

I dont have any sports channels as part of my subscription, but thanks

Thanks dont have Prime -  all I want is to use the option of a free week to watch the finals etc., and with other offers, like Disney etc., once signed up via web site I can then look in by apps on 360 box.

Just hoped there would be one for Discovery Plus!

Hi hackneyuser

You could sign up for a free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime and then get access to Discovery+  for £3.99 a month (OK it's not free but it does give you access to all of the Olympics)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/tryprimefree

Once the Amazon Prime free trial is up your subscription will be automatically renewed at the regular price – so don’t forget to cancel before that happens, if you don’t want to continue watching (and start paying)

Once signed up for Amazon Prime you can then subscribe to and access Discovery+ via Amazon Prime on your VM set top box.

Discovery+  is currently reduced in price to £3.99 a month for the Standard tier (which includes Eurosport and the Olympics coverage) The discounted price is until December 2024 but you can cancel that at any time..

Many thanks for the info about Amazon Prime - not only is a free month better than a free week - but Amazon Prime has many other shows that I would be interested in.

Thanks - on a tight budget every little bit helps!
