Previous occupiers probably had VM broadband. VM do not remove any cabling. If it’s a brand new apartment it could have been installed by the developer.

Hi Gabzyy
Have you actually signed up for a broadband account with Virgin?
If not then it's possible that the apartment has been wired up for broadband with VM by your landlord/apartment owner or a previous occupant had a broadband account with VM

Problem is that no service is being offered to my apartment, called them and checked they don’t supply internet to my apartment, so I have no clue what for the boxes are for.

If so, wouldn’t they then offer me the service for internet rather than saying they don’t not supply service to my apartment?

It means that if you want to have cable broadband, Virginmedia should be able to connect you quickly. But there are other suppliers available.

As of right this moment I have tried many broadband suppliers and half don’t supply even though I have a box similar to this from Openreach so I have no clue is going on

It is very strange that you have those boxes but no available service. Is this a flat? A new development? What do your neighbours use?

It’s a flat/apartment. The strangest part is that my neighbours have access to many broadband, for example Vodafone, next door has access to it when I check the door number however when I just change the number it’s say the service is not available in your area so I’m really lost.
