From the article quoted "It’s almost as if their cheap price has been considered the most important factor …"
Well, duh.....

I assume they're being banned because they're actually more secure. haha 😛
I don't trust any mainstream news nowadays, gotta be wary about fake news, and big corps are just mouthpieces for rich corporations. The fact that they're complaining about fair trade pricing in the same article is ringing alarm bells for me! USA is known to sell the most unfair trading in the world. There are companies in usa charging £1500 for products worth £100. China is just a fair trade country and rich billionaire's would rather you buy chinese goods through a US based middleman so they can have their cut even though the alternatives they reccommend are "made in china" anyway.
Oh I just realised it's the wall street journal? Seriously? Just confirms it.
I thought this was advice from an actual networking expert/ethical hacker. Not a wall street newspaper! hahah If TP-Link was more dangerous than any other brand of Router then this would have been news in actual tech circles, not WALL STREET.

Also isn't Apple one of the biggest causes of inflation in the world? or am I stupid? I thought they made 1TRILLION off of unfairly trading cheap chinese manufactured equipment, so is it any wonder WALL STREET don't want you buying things directly from china?

I'll worry about it when China actually brick my TP-Link items. Other than that, I'll lean towards it's about protecting US goods.....
