Virgin TV Go not working on MacBook Pro error 3016

When I try to watch TV on Virgin TV Go on Safari version 17 on a MacBook Pro 2019 I get:

Not Available

Sorry - we can't play this at the moment 3016

It works fine on my iPhone but on my MacBook it always asks me to register the device but never actually registers it.

Any advice for fixing this problem would help.  I'm not using a VPN, I have also tried in Google Chrome and I have the same problem there.

Welcome to the Community Forums and thanks for the post.

Sorry to hear you have been having this issue, what we would advise checking is that your device is registered or not via our website here, otherwise we would advise deleting all devices and trying again from the Macbook.



Thanks, I’ve tried that and it didn’t work. 

Sorry to hear this, what operating system is your MacBook currently on? 

Does it also work on any other devices at all, or do you get the same error?

Also there is a sound feature built into TV like YouTube for example is this switched up?
