Hi
I'm with virgin media with TV, Broadband and phone line, I have a 360 box in main room and was looking at getting virgin tv into 2nd TV in kitchen, I do not want a mini 360, as it would be almost impossible to run a cable to 2nd TV, so my question is can I use a virgin stream box for 2nd TV (like sky have) I have been told I can't as I have a 360 box, which doesn't make sense to me.
Could someone please explain if I can't have a stream box why not.
Thanks
Lello

V360 is a broadcast product. Stream is IPTV. The channel owners see these as two separate delivery entities, so you subscribe to either one or the other. You cannot have both on the same account. You could subscribe to Sky Stream for the additional TV, but the same as if VM offered both methods, you would end up paying out for two completely separate TV packages.

I really wish I'd read this thread. The Virgin installer came round after we moved house and said he wasn't going to cable in the second box, as all I had to do was contact Virgin after a month and they would send me out a Stream box. From what you're saying, that is not the case....
