I'm in the last few months of an 18-month broadband-only contract, and wanted to try the stream box. However, VM customer service insists that's only possible with a new 18-month contract.
Is that true, or are they trying it on?

Thats a usual response but I believe incorrect.
As this is a double post I will move it to the TV stream forum - you may get advice/opinion in there

Hi Ayisha_B
If the above is correct why have i been advised by a member of the Virgin Media online support team that i can only have a stream box if i take out a new 18 month contract (For which they could no longer apply my current discounts so the price would increase from £27 to £49 which is unacceptable). All i want is the box with no change to my current contract, if what you say is true how can i do this and why am i being advised i cant by virgin staff?

Hi AnnoyingBots,
Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome back, sorry to hear you were not happy with the information you were given around adding a Stream Box, I was able to locate yo on our system with the details we have for you and it looks like you have spoken to us since your last post, have you been able to get the Stream box added on a 30 days rolling contract?
Regards
Paul.
