I just got a new virgin media wifi hub and it was supposed to be at 100Mbps but it was only like that for a while and now its about 15Mbps download a d on like 1 bar when I look at the bottom right of the screen on my pc like the wifi signal strength. The hub was on the floor next to the pc so i moved it to sit on top of the pc but now it only reached about half the download speed. I tried restarting but the same problem. Is it there a fix to get the wifi signal strength back to normal?

I see...so its running normally, if you want better wireless look to get your own router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode.

Since the pc is next to the Hub, why don't you connect them by ethernet and see what speeds VM is giving you to the Hub?
If your pc doesn't have an ethernet socket you can get a USB adaptor for a few pounds.

The link below shows the performance to the VM Hub regardless of your device type or connection method,
it also shows have fast your device draws data from the VM Hub. The PC would be best on a network cable.
