Hello. I received a call on 13 August from an 0800 052 number to my mobile phone, the caller claiming to be from Virgin Media. He went on to explain that records showed I had been a customer over 20 years, which is correct, and after explaining a reward package which he said would include a Netflix subscription and Sky Sports and Sky Cinema channels, the call abruptly ended. I have since received 2 calls from an 0207 113 number on 21 and 22 August on my mobile phone and another call from an 0754 number to my home phone this morning. Is there any way to check if Virgin Media are trying to contact about an offer, or confirm that this was a phishing attempt? I have received no email about any offers or contract changes recently.
