Child Safe Not Working

Hi

Child safe is not working. It is showing as switched on but nothing is being blocked. Please can you advise.

Web Safe requires the use of Virgin Media DNS to work. To check go to https://1.1.1.1/help, from the device experiencing issues, and confirm AS Name result reports Virgin Media, as highlighted below:

If AS Name is not reported as Virgin Media then either DNS has been manually set on device or, if using Hub in modem mode, third-party router is not set to use Virgin Media's DNS (194.168.4.100, 194.168.8.100).

Hi

Please could I have an update from Virgin ? I spoke to the customer service department last week and was assured the problem will be fixed 04.08.2023. It is still not working.

Cloudflare DNS servers 1.1.1.3 & 1.0.0.3 provide services like websafe/childsafe, if you just want websafe functionality use 1.1.1.2 & 1.0.0.2
