So recently Virgin have been putting in cables in my area, where can I find out when it goes live as it says on the website that it’s not yet available. I’m with true speed currently and really want to get away from them, just don’t want to go to a copper line again. Any links or help will be greatly appreciated.

If you have a True Speed connection that is working fine, think long and hard before walking away from that.

Once the street is cabled by VM it typically takes from one to many months for new online orders to open.
it depends on when the local network goes live.
