Virgin Mobile is the worst internet provider

I have registered for a new contract with Virgin Mobile on the 6th of January. The company should have done the external work on the 10th of January and should have installed the new box and the internal work on the 22d of January.

I have never got the internal work done

I am a new customer and I already hate Virgin Media, their lies, their incompetence and their disrespect for customers. It is impossible to contact them and when you are lucky you have indian speakers who cannot even help you slove the probem. This is a total disgrace ! I will file a complaint at the OFCOM and ask for cancellation of my contract. Many other internet providers are more serious and more professional than Billionnaire Branson's company !!!

Yes they are an absolute unbelievable waste of time. I'm still being hounded by debt collectors a year after I left them. They refused to cancel my contract via Whatsapp despite an assistant initially saying he would. Whilst still in conversation with them, I got phone calls trying to upsell me more expensive packages. I cancelled via writing too just be to be sure.  Even until quite recently I was getting messages "good news Virgin will take you back".  lol.

Virgin Media is owned by Liberty Global and yes, they're the worst. That's not just you, they have the the worst BGP peering in Europe. It's an awful company and I urge you to exit your contract and avoid any dealings with them.

They will not honour the terms of contract when they break it. I paid for a 1gig package and for several weeks my speeds were dropping to 1 Mbps over ethernet. They eventually fixed the issue but refused to allow me to exit the contract and lied to the ombudsman.

Oh btw the Communications Ombudsman is not independent, they're paid by the ISPs so they're biased in their favour.

The contract kicks in when the installation is completed and working. At this stage all you need to do is cancel the order/ installation - you will need to be clear and insistent and not put off by false promises of assistance. 

In dealings with VM it is essential to record your call (good free apps for mobiles).

 

You are not sorry ! you don't care about your customers and you are totally useless in posting your "sorry" and "apaologies" messages on social networks !!

Instead, you should work harder, much harder to improve your miserable services

It is even impossible to reply to your private message !! this is really the worst company I have EVER faced !!!

May I ask if the disconnection was sorted eventually or was it done later than expected?

No it was never sorted out. I'm still being hounded for the money by a debt collector. (6-9 months later!)
