Virgin Media Slamming Me

Virgin Media have cancelled my previous broadband and voice provider Talk Talk, as part of porting my phone number across, however they're unable to install the new services still (current estimate is 22nd July, meant to be installed 18th May, no services since 21st May). I don't believe it will be installed on the 22nd July, as they have promised a date 6 times previously, and failed every time.

Talk Talk stated they received an "Unsolicited cease" notification, and accordingly cancelled the services. Virgin Media state they "have no ability to cancel the previous providers services".

Any suggestions on how to unblock this "he said, she said" game? Perhaps a SAR? I have emailed Ofcom today too.

Seems to be a Talk Talk thing. I did a search on "unsolicited cease" and it's nearly all Talk Talk stuff coming back eg
