Super Hub 2 or Super Hub 4?

I am still using a Super Hub 2 (modem mode connected to TP-Link switch and Google WiFi) and have received an email from VM offering me a Super Hub 4. I'm on the M250 package broadband only and have no intention to upgrade that. Should I accept the new Super Hub or stay with my old one which is still working OK. Thanks for your help.

You will get mixed responses. Some will say that the Hub 2 is obsolete with very limited functionality (in particular it won't support the forthcoming telephony through the hub switchover). Others would say that any change or interaction with VM is fraught with peril,  stress, and hidden booby traps, and that if your current setup works for you then stick with it.

Wait for VM to upgrade you and hope you get a hub 5

On the other hand a forced upgrade could give you a hub3.

I would go for it as you run in modem mode, so unlikely to have problems with a Hub4.
