Removal of Virgin box from driveway

I have recently purchased a property where there is a large box of cabling outside, which I'm informed belongs to Virgin. It blocks our driveway meaning we are unable to park on there. Please can you advise of how I can go about getting this removed or relocated to allow us to access our driveway? Thank you in advance

I would'nt think VM just blocks a driveway without consent and permission so you must of purchased the property knowing this.

How about some pics

Thanks for your reply. Of course we purchased the property knowing it was there. But we would like to know if it can be removed/relocated.We have not been provided with any documentation pertaining to previous owners giving permission. I won't share pics publicly just for security reasons.

Normally the box would run alone a wall its possible the wall was removed and now the box is in the open.

What exactly is this box?  As suggested a photo would assist.  It doesn't have to show the area, just a close up of the box itself.

The pic needs to show the box and the driveway.

Here is a photo showing the box and the driveway just behind. The driveway is parallel to the road so in order to park there you need to navigate through the gap to the right hand side. There is a wall out of sight to the right of the bush shown, meaning it is difficult to get the right angle between the box and the wall. Whereas if the box wasn't there (or was even to the far left of the driveway) it wouldn't be an issue.

We have tried removing the green cover to gain some space but to no avail.

Beneath the cover is just a load of wires, it is not clear whether the box is even in use...

Who told you it belongs to VM? If it belongs to VM it's an odd-looking cabinet. How do you know it has a load of wires?

It certainly does not look like a VM box. Can you possibly take a photo of the interior? What colour are the wires? Are the wires in any trunking? Are they terminated on any equipment?

If the box is on the pavement it would be the local Council that gave permission, not the previous house owner, so it wouldn't be recorded on the deeds,.

The Council's Highways department would be able to tell you who it belongs to.
