Relocation of Media Hub

Hi

Would it be possible to relocate my Virgin Router/Hub from downstairs to upstairs?

We have purchased a gaming PC for my sons birthday and the internet signal upstairs is so poor even with two WiFi pods. We have Volt M500 and the signal is so poor upstairs.

Could someone advise if this is possible as the PC needs to be hardwired connection to perform at its best. We paid a lot of money to get a high spec PC and the internet is severely letting it down.

I look forward to hearing from you

Adam

Hi Adam,

There would be a £25 non fault call out charge (it used to be £99) to do the work you require.

You should call  150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, option 2 (FaultsWhen calling Faults ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and book the tech for you.

Or wait a day or two and a member of the Forum Team should pick this up for you and arrange a tech visit.

Hi @Eddie301182,

Thank you for your post and welcome to our community forums. We're here to help.

As @newapollo has mentioned in their response, we can send out an engineer to change your installation set up but there'd be a £25 call out fee to do this. If that's something you're happy to accept and go ahead with, please respond to the private message that I'll be sending to you shortly and we'll proceed from there.

Thanks,
